Spór [Dispute] contains forty out of several thousand texts written over a period of several years. Apart from the obvious educational value, the anthology is an opportunity to get to know different styles of writing about contemporary art. The texts are divided into seven thematic chapters devoted to significant disputes over art: values, controversies, reviewers, engagement, institutions, public art, art market and commercialization. The book is accompanied by a DVD From the archives of Obieg.tv with a selection of films prepared by Aleksandra Polisiewicz.
