Night of the Stream

Weekend with Film, Night with Performance

When was the last time you felt your imagination truly working? When did you last feel that you understood your emotions, and that your body was no longer a vessel for tension? Do you also feel fried?

Rite, Raid, Ride is a film project by Weronika Wysocka and Oskar Pawełko, developed between 2021 and 2025.The project emerged as a response to experiences of isolation and overload, a need to rebuild community, and resistance against corrupt systems. The films follow a group of characters undergoing a ritual of transformation, presented through performative actions staged for the camera and cinematic narration. Anarchist, queer, and feminist values unfold through a surreal visual language that dismantles existing hierarchies and dominant structures.

Each part of the series constructs a distinct narrative space filled with disruptions, glitches, discontinuities, and symbolic gestures. The characters function as hybrids of literary and cinematic references, operating beyond the logic of realist representation, suspended between different orders, balancing on the threshold of the real and the imagined. Rather than telling a linear story, the created world builds meaning through body, sound, and image.

Film screenings:
20/02 at 18:45 and 19:15
Film screenings with an introduction:
21/02 and 22/02 at 17:30

On Friday, 20/02, the film screening will flow directly into Night of the Stream an event during which the artists involved in creating the film will enter into a performative dialogue with its emotional landscape.

The film and live actions will merge into one experience: a transdisciplinary, intergenerational ritual rooted in queer universalism where differences do not divide but open a space for collective transformation.
Your programme begins.
