Poems in the city

Workshop creative writing (LOESJE)

European Union National Institutes of Culture invites everyone who like some language fun and games to join LOESJE for her creative text writing workshop on Sunday 7/04 at 12:00.

Loesje (a Dutch girls name) is a group of people active from all around the world and at the same time, Loesje is a character, through whom those people want to inspire others. Loesje workshops involve writing short texts during a creative group process. No previous experience in writing is needed. It's all about the group dynamics, playing with words and associations. At the end of the session, the most inspiring and intriguing texts are chosen for final editing. They are later layouted to create a new series of black and white posters signed by Loesje.

LOESJE in Ujazdowski is part of the project ‘Poems in the city organized by the European Union National Institutes of Culture (EUNIC) in cooperation with the City of Warsaw. In April poems will pop up in Warsaw. Poetry will populate the city space, including cafes, commercial spaces, clubs and independent bookstores.

LOESJE in Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art workshop will be given in Polish language and the topic (just like the topic 'Poems in the city') will be: Love (speech).
