We invite you to participate in a ceramics workshop taking place as part of the Claudia Clare exhibition. Feminist satire. No safe spaces at the Center for Contemporary Art - Ujazdowski Castle.
Kitchen table clay - is the ceramics that can be made in your own home; in the kitchen – or anywhere else. There is no need to rent a fancy studio or have special equipment. We invite not only people with experience in creating with clay, beginners are very welcome, too.
Workshop in English will be conducted by artist Claudia Clare, whose exhibition Feminist Satire. No Safe Spaces can be viewed at CSW Zamek Ujazdowski until October 1, 2023.
Claudia Clare (born 1962) is a woman who knows her profession. After studying painting at Camberwell School of Art in the 1980s, Clare apprenticed at a Winchcombe pottery studio. In 1997, she began working on a permanent basis with the Ceramic Review magazine, and a decade later she obtained her PhD from the University of Westminster.
