Creative School – Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art

Workshops for secondary school students were created to develop creativity, as well as creative and independent thinking not only about art, but also about the world in general. Their goal is also to broaden the knowledge of art history and aesthetics and to increase the ability to define their own judgments. The workshops are structured to broaden young people’s perception and prepare them to be recipients of contemporary culture. The workshop complements students’ preparations for the Matura exam.

The workshops are adapted to the individual needs of the group based on a pre-workshop conversation. Depending on the participants’ interests, both the topic of the workshop and the activities may focus on various issues.

• We run two types of workshops for school groups:

  • permanent workshops, carried out at exhibitions and beyond,
  • workshops conducted at temporary exhibitions that focus on selected topics.
