Ansambl Święto

- Ansambl Święto came into being—though still unnamed, ahead of its own identity—in December 2024 at the Ujazdowski Castle. It was then, as part of the Otwieramy się program, that Wojciech Kosma invited a group of musicians for a short residency, during which they formed an ensemble combining a unique instrumentation, avant-garde imagination, and the traditions of folk and early music with poetry, performance, and participatory practices.
- The ensemble are Emilia Gołos, Maja Miro, Aspa Anogiati, Ryszard Lubieniecki, ehh hahah, and Wojciech Kosma. Their debut concert was recorded and is available at swieto.bandcamp.com, and this zine accompanies its release. Alongside transcriptions of poems sung by Wojciech and photos of the group, it features excerpts from the notes of Maja, Ryszard, Aspa, ehh hahah, and Emilia. The zine was designed by Ola Sowińska and printed using the riso technique. It is a limited edition.
