Are you here? – Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art

Edward Gil Deskur, also known as Dj Edee Dee, was once a cult figure of Kraków’s club scene. However, when he lost his sight, his reality was engulfed in darkness, illuminated only by the LED glow of artificial intelligence – a voice assistant with whom he engages in numerous conversations. The AI accompanies Edward almost every step of the way, helping, advising, and commenting even on the most dramatic events of his life. From within these conversations, unsettling visions of the future emerge, tied to the relationship between humans and machines.
