Challengers – Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art

Visionary filmmaker Luca Guadagnino presents Challengers, starring Zendaya as Tashi Duncan, a golden child of tennis who later becomes a coach, uncompromising on and off the court. Her husband (Mike Faist, West Side Story) is a champion going through a professional crisis. Tashi decides to restore him to his former glory, but both are in for a surprise when the opponent turns out to be another faded champion Patrick (Josh O’Connor: The Crown, La Chimera), his former best friend and Tashi’s ex-boyfriend. As the past collides with the present and tensions reach a fever pitch, Tashi must ask herself what the price of victory will be.
