summer cinema
Victory
directed by John Huston, USA 1981, 116'
- Kazimierz Deyna, Bobby Moore, Osvaldo Ardiles, and Pele, regarded as the best football player in history, are all on the same team with Sylvester Stallone as prisoners of the German POW camp during World War II, for whom the football game is a chance to escape. Huston's film is classic Hollywood war-sport cinema, in which an overwhelming number of stars (alongside Stallone – Max von Sydof and Michael Caine) is more important than historical facts. However, the emotions – as in Hollywood – are real.
- Screening is part of the Summer Cinema in the City Garden Jazdów
- Admission is free
