A leading psychologist among Italian directors, Paolo Genovese (Perfect Strangers, The Place) returns with another film. The First Day of My Life, an adaptation of his own novel, is a moving story about difficult moments in life and the need to start all over again.
It is a story of a group of people who, just before committing suicide, meet a mysterious man (played by Paolo Sorrentino’s favourite actor Toni Servillo). The stranger persuades them to make a pact that will completely change their view on life.
