directed by Oksana Kazmina, Ukraine 2019, 8'
Premiered at the Institute of Contemporary Art, London, this short film tells a story of a super heroine named Fabulous Squirt who fights far-right extremists in Ukraine by turning them into fun-loving little ponies. Where notions of civic action and disobedience become perverted, what course of action is left to those who want to right a blatant wrong? Turning the myth of Lysistrata on its head, the Armed and Dangerous collective proposes a radical solution to the problem of radicalization.
