Meeting with Adam Wierciński
Background Check is an informal, intimate gathering focused on architecture — a guest lecture followed by a short Q&A and discussion. We invite studios operating beyond the mainstream. We are interested in bold voices and topics that are less frequently addressed in industry discourse.
Our meetings focus on design in the context of contemporary challenges: dwindling planetary resources, the carbon footprint of the construction industry, and its impact on the climate crisis. We ask whether it is possible to build differently — in a less harmful way.
On 14 May, Adam Wierciński, founder of wiercinski-studio, will speak about his work. The studio develops projects of various functions and scales, ranging from buildings to interiors and furniture.
The meeting will not be recorded or broadcast, as we want to create space for sincere conversation and genuine exchange.
