How Can Cultural Institutions and Organisations Build Resilience to Disinformation?

  • How can cultural institutions respond to disinformation, waves of online hate and information manipulation? How can resilience be built in times of war and ongoing crisis?

    • During the debate, invited speakers will reflect on their experiences of disinformation during the full-scale war in Ukraine. Together, they will identify key strategies of action and support that can help cultural institutions and organisations confront deepfake content and coordinated hate campaigns.

  • The debate concludes the project Art Institutions in the Face of the Challenges of Information (Hybrid) Warfare. Do Museums Have a Problem?, developed in partnership between Dwutygodnik and Centrum Sztuki Współczesnej Zamek Ujazdowski, with financial support from the National Recovery Plan (KPO) for Culture, funded by the European Union.
  • The debate will be held in Polish and Ukrainian, with live simultaneous interpretation.
