Performative week with Other Dances & Feedback: giving and assuming form

Performances and presentations of residencies results

  • In April and May performatives residencies Feedback: giving and assuming form were held for Polish artists: Ania Nowak, Karol Tymiński, Maria Zimpel. Residencies were focused on the theme of alienation and exclusion. The starting point for the residents is investigation into the creative and destructive power of the body and the potential for thinking outside dualist divisions into one of us vs stranger, man vs woman, language vs body, culture vs nature or human vs animal. The project is expanded to include the presentation of Agatas Maszkiewicz Still Life performance. The project has been realised as part of the research project Cartographies of Strangeness and in collaboration with the Institute of Music and Dance.
