Małgorzata Turewicz Lafranchi – Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art

Małgorzata Turewicz Lafranchi's show is part of a series of exhibitions launched last year presenting the work of artists whose works are in the collections of the Ujazdowski Castle Center for Contemporary Art.

“I rather go my own way,” the artist said in one of the interviews. It's hard to disagree with this, looking at her art from the perspective of over thirty years. Turewicz Lafranchi's sculptures and objects differed in style and issues from the trends prevailing in the art of past decades, and at the same time constitute a coherent statement on issues important to her from the beginning of her creative path.
