Whatever happened, happened​

Ivo Nikić 

(born in 1974) – in 2003, he graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, in the Studio of Prof. Jarosław Modzelewski, with an annex at the studio Art in Public Space headed by Prof. Mirosław Duchowski. In his works he employs painting, photography, video, as well as city actions; he creates objects and installations. In 2006, stipendiary of the Artist-In-Residence program in Bern, Switzerland. Participant of numerous collective and individual exhibitions in the country (CCA Ujazdowski Castle, Studio Gallery, Arsenał Gallery in Poznań, Fokus Łódź Biennale) as well as abroad (amongst others: Humboldt Berlin, Umspannwerk; Bat-Yam International Biennale of Landscape Urbanism in Israel; Rotor in Graz, Tokyo Fashion Week). Since 2001, he’s been co-creating the group szu szu (shu shu) together with Piotr Kopik and Karol Radziszewski. Ivo Nikić lives and works in Warsaw, Poland. www.ivonikic.com
