Monika Chlebek 

(born 1986) – received her diploma in 2011 from the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków, under Professor Leszek Misiak. She is a painter, drawer, and collagist. In 2009, the artist made her debut by participating in the collective exhibition Moon Hostel in Kraków’s Bumper Gallery, with which she still works. Since 2012, the YUKI-SIS Gallery in Tokyo has also been representing the artist. Monika Chlebek has participated in an Artist-in-Residence programme organized by bm: ukk in Vienna. She has participated in more than 20 exhibitions, collective as well as individual, in the country and abroad. The artist lives and works in Kraków.
