Zofia Gramz
born in 1981 in Szczecin. The artist lives and works in Warsaw. She creates drawings, animation films as well as videos. During the years 2003–2008, she studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, Faculty of Sculpture under the supervision of Professors Jan Kucza and Grzegorz Kowalski. In 2008 she completed her thesis under the supervision of Professor Romuald Wózniak as well as an annex in drawing under the supervision of Professor Zofia Glazer-Rudzińska. In 2012, she received the Henkel Art Award from Henkel Poland for a series of drawings. In 2011, she was awarded the annual Artistic Scholarship from the Śródmieście District Council of the City of Warsaw, thanks to which she organized an exhibition of her works in an urban area, Health and Sobriety. Some of her other exhibitions include, Beard, mustache, glasses, no way to hide in 2011 as well as I live quietly and I don’t restrict myself at all in 2010 in the Heppen Transfer gallery. The artist also took part in the exhibition Warianty. Kowalski Studio 2006/2007 in Zachęta – National Gallery of Art.
