Emergency residencies for Ukrainian artists
Open call for residencies in Warsaw in November 2022
Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art, Zachęta – National Gallery of Art and Centre of Polish Sculpture in Orońsko invite Ukrainian artists and other art professionals seeking refuge from the war to apply for residencies in Warsaw or Orońsko. Families are welcome. Families are welcome. Unfortunately, we will not be able to host artists with the pets.
Emergency residencies are supported by Adam Mickiewicz Institute.
- What do we offer?
- Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art, Warsaw (residency in November 2022)
- — from 1 to 4 studios available – availability depends on the date of residence
- — accommodation / the living-working studio, up to 1 month stay
- — per diems
- — free access to the library and gallery, cinema and the other facilities of the host organization
- — if needed: administrative support, curatorial guidance, networking with the art community
- — possibility of accommodation with the family

- Zachęta – National Gallery of Art, Warsaw (residency in November 2022)
- — 2 studios per month – the residency starts from the first day of each month
- — accommodation/double guest room with bathroom & kitchenette, up to one month stay
- — per diems
- — free access to the library and all gallery’s events
- — if needed: administrative support, curatorial guidance
- — working studio is not available

- Artists are invited to apply to 1 of the listed above organizations with a short note including:
- — name and surname
- — e-mail and phone number
- — info if you are coming with a partner/kids/parents
- — the statement that you've crossed the Ukrainian border after 24th February 2022, and you are of a Ukrainian nationality (in any form)
- — a link to social media or website presenting your artistic practice, or your artistic portfolio
- — motivation letter
- This open call is dedicated to all Ukrainian artists who crossed the Ukrainian border after February 24, 2022, because of the war.
- In the title of the e-mail please indicate to which institution you are applying: Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art or Zachęta – National Gallery of Art

- Враховуючи поточну політичну ситуацію та військову агресію Росії проти Україні, ми відкриваємо програму термінових резиденцій у Варшаві для підтримки художників та професіоналів у сфері мистецтва, які шукають притулку від війни, та їх родин. На жаль, ми не можемо прийняти художни_ць з тваринами.

- Центр сучасного мистецтва Zamek Ujazdowski, Варшава (в у поточному конкурсі відкрито набір на резиденції що відбудуться в листопаді 2022)
- — розміщення: студії з можливістю проживання та праці на термін до одного місяця
- — стипендія
- — безкоштовний доступ до бібліотеки, галереї, кінотеатру та всіх подій центру
- — за потреби: адміністративна та кураторське підтримка, зустрічі з мистецькою спільнотою
- — можливість приїхати з родиною

- Zachęta - Національна художня галерея, Варшава (2 резиденції на місяць – резиденції починаються з першого числа кожного місяця)
- — розміщення: 2-місна кімната з ванною та міні-кухнею, термін проживання до одного місяця

- Художни_ці можуть подати заявку лише на ОДНУ з перелічених резиденцій з короткою приміткою, яка включає:
- Ім’я та прізвище
- Адреса електронної пошти, та контактний номер телефону
- інформацію про те з ким ви приїдете (партнером/дітьми/батьками)
- декларація про перетин кордону України після 24 лютого 2022 року, та про українське громадянство (у довільній формі)
- посилання на ваші соціальні мережі, веб-сайт, що представляє вашу мистецьку практику, чи портфоліо
- мотиваційний лист
