Ariel Reichman (Israel)
is an artist born in Johannesburg, South Africa, working in the fields of photography, film, drawing, installation and performance. A significant aspect of his work is the turn towards the subjective: past experiences, everyday rituals and dreams. In works in which he refers to his childhood memories, he restores the elements which are of importance for reconstruction of one’s identity. Reichman addresses political topics as well, but always searching for a mode of expression that does not lack an intimate dimension.
