Artur Sumarokov (Артур Сумароков) (Ukraine)
Artur Sumarokov
actor, playwright, and art critic, born in 1990 in Kherson. Participant in the Week of Actual Play festival of contemporary Ukrainian drama (2018, 2019, 2020), and a member of the artistic teams of productions at the Totem Center Theatre Lab in Kherson and of the independent theater laboratory of Natalia Blok. His articles have been published in Flashforward Magazine and Moviegram.
Artur Sumarokov takes part in an Emergency Residency, a project of monthly residencies for Ukrainian artists, established in reaction to Russia's military aggression in Ukraine in 2022. This residency is organized with the financial support of Ministry of Culture and National Heritage in partnership with culture.pl, Zachęta – National Gallery of Art and Centre of Polish Sculpture in Orońsko. Project is supported by Meta Company.

Навчався в Херсонському національному технічному університеті за фахом філолога. Aктор, драматург, кінокритик, народився 1990 року в Херсоні, Україна. Публікував статті в журналах Flashforward і Moviegram. Брав участь у фестивалях сучасної української драматургії «Тиждень актуальної п'єси» (2018, 2019, 2020), входив до складу Театральної лабораторії Центру культурного розвитку «Тотем» у Херсоні та незалежної театральної лабораторії Наталі Блок.
