Talk with Krist Gruijthuijsen, director of KW Institute for Contemporary Art in Berlin

Krist Gruijthuijsen

as from June 2016, curator and director of the KW Institute of Contemporary Art. From 2012 till 2016, he was the artistic director of Grazer Kunstverein in Graz. In 2011, the head of the master's course at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Sandberg Instituut in Amsterdam. He is one of the co-founders of the Kunstverein in Amsterdam and was a curator and organizer of many exhibitions and projects, including Manifesta 7 (Trentino-South Tyrol, IT), Platform Garanti Contemporary Art Center (Istanbul, TR), Artists Space (New York, US), Museum of Contemporary Art (Belgrade, RS), Swiss Institute (New York, US), Galeria Vermelho (São Paulo, BR), Stedelijk Museum (Amsterdam, NL), Van Abbemuseum (Eindhoven, NL), Arnolfini (Bristol, UK), Project Arts Centre (Dublin, IE), Utah Museum of Contemporary Art (Salt Lake City, US), Institute of Modern Art (Brisbane, AU). He prepared and edited many works and collaborated with numerous publishing houses.
