Time Rembered. Mala Gallery 1977–2006
Catalogue accompanying Time Rembered. Mala Gallery 1977–2006 exhibition presented at the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art. Mala Gallery ZPAF-CSW was one of the most important non-commercial galleries presenting photography in Poland. It was established by a prominent artist Zbigniew Dłubak. Since 1983, Marek Grygiel, curator of photography at the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art, was responsible for the artistic programme of the Gallery. Within 30 years, Mala Gallery exhibited works of almost 300 artists. It organized dozen significant exhibitions of Polish photography in Germany, Hungary, USA (New York), France (Toulouse, Toulon), Lithuania (Vilnius, Siauliai), Slovakia (Bratislava, Poprad), Great Britain (Brighton), Finland and Estonia.
This book contains texts by Wojciech Krukowski, Marek Grygiel, Bożenna Stokłosa, Adam Mazur, list of all exhibitions presented at the gallery and more than one hundred photographs of selected artists, including: Teresa Gierzyńska, Maurycy Gomulicki, Paweł Kwiek, Andrzej Lachowicz, Natalia LL, Wojciech Prażmowski, Józef Robakowski, Zygmunt Rytka, Janusz Szczucki, Paweł Żak.
