Sensorial Earth – from the series {EcoKids}
A workshop with Karolina Ferenc for families with children aged 7–10 (prior registration required)
The workshop will focus on becoming acquainted with the surroundings of the Ujazdowski Castle from the micro perspective of the soil’s ecosystem. The participants will go for a walk guided by a previously designated map to specific locations, at which soil samples as well as plants could be collected. Each participant will receive a map, on which they will be able to add a new layer of information consisting of the collected materials and what will arise as a result of subsequent sensory tests of the soil. This additional layer will create a kind of subjective map of the environment. Participants will take the resulting 2D / 3D collages with them.
