{The Art of Get Together}
Mondays workshops for young people
-
If you’re a teenager from Poland, Ukraine, Belarus or another country, and you’re looking for a place to meet people, talk, get to know one another and discover contemporary art – even if you don’t know anything about it yet – come to the Centre for Contemporary Art!
- Spend time with others, have a chat and see what artists have to say about the world. You may find inspiration here to tell your own story, express your emotions or share your ideas.
- We invite you to a series of free workshops taking place over six consecutive Mondays at the Centre for Contemporary Art Ujazdowski Castle.
-
-
During the workshops, we will:
- create a safe and open space to be together and get to know one another,
- talk about ourselves, our experiences and what matters to us,
- explore contemporary art in an accessible way,
- take part in creative activities inspired by art,
- try to tell our own stories through various artistic forms.
-
- No prior preparation or knowledge of art is required – all that matters is curiosity and a willingness to participate. The workshops are aimed particularly at those who have not previously had contact with cultural institutions but would like to see whether this is the right space for them.
- We want to create a place where you can feel at ease, be heard and find inspiration – both for creative activities and for building relationships with others.
- The sessions will be led by Ujazdowski Castle educators Maria Jung Mochnacka and Agata Kędzia.
