The teenage heroine of the film, Autumn (Sidney Flanigan), is experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. She decides to terminate it. With no family support, she is afraid. A trip to a clinic in a different state becomes an ordeal that triggers strong emotions she’s unable to cope with. The film was awarded the Silver Bear Grand Jury Prize at the Berlin International Film Festival.
