Palestine Cinema Days 2026 – Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art

November 1–4, 2026, marks the third Polish edition of Palestine Cinema Days—an international showcase of Palestinian cinema that brings audiences together worldwide each year around Palestinian stories, memory, and lived experiences.

This year’s edition of Palestine Cinema Days takes place once again at a poignant moment, coinciding with the 109th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration (November 2). As part of this global initiative, over 1,000 screenings will take place across the globe.

The Polish edition will span 14 cities, featuring a lineup of 12 feature-length and short films, including 7 Polish premieres. It offers a rare opportunity to discover Palestinian cinema that seldom reaches standard distribution in Poland—ranging from world classics and award-winning documentaries to the latest shorts portraying Palestine through the eyes of its people.

For decades, Palestinian cinema has been far more than a mere record of reality. It serves as a means of preserving memory, reclaiming narratives, and telling stories through their own voices and imagery. Today, amidst a fragile ceasefire, as the world slowly looks away, we are reminded of how easily Palestine can fade from media headlines even while its people continue to endure unimaginable loss. At a time like this, these stories become all the more vital.

Palestine Cinema Days is not just a film showcase; it is a global act of solidarity with Palestine and its creators. From November 1–4, we will gather in cinemas and cultural spaces across Poland to watch films, listen to Palestinian voices, and remember together that cinema is more than art—it is presence, memory, resistance, and solidarity.
