Tough Guys – Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art

Härte is the true story of Andreas Marquardt, an athlete who became a violent pimp, served eight years in prison, and subsequently—through therapy—processed the trauma associated with the childhood violence and sexual abuse he suffered at the hands of his mother. Today, he is actively involved in charity work supporting child victims of abuse.

The story is told from the perspective of both Andreas himself and his partner, Marion. For many years, Marion, like many other women, worked for him as a prostitute. However, she was the only one who stood by him, and to this day, she continues to support him and remain at his side.
