The Influencing Machine – Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art

Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art invites to an opening of The Influencing Machine exhibition, an anthropological investigation into the Soros Centers for Contemporary Art, an unprecedented network of art centers that existed in twenty Eastern European capitals throughout the 1990s.

The exhibition presents a survey of historical and contemporary artworks from today’s most important artists. Thematic narratives explore ideas of influence, revolution, colonialism, and cultural exorcism.
