portable exhibition and trailer for The Hypnotic Show
As part of the promotion of Obieg magazine, we present a ‘portable exhibition’. This stylish collar was made to celebrate the 30th edition of the California magazine The Thing, which publishes things. It was made of cotton by the curator Raimundas Malašauskas, fashion and stage designer Sandra Straukaitė and the artist Elena Narbutaitė. A pattern from Raimundas’s notebook was transferred onto the material, which the curator dropped into water and then gave to Elena as a gift. Sandra designed the collar, which is intended to be worn. We also show a ‘retroactive’ film in
U-jazdowski Cinema, which accompanies The Hypnotic Show exhibition created for New York’s Guggenheim Museum. It is shown in the cinema between selected film showings.
