White skies, white worlds – Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art

Ania Grzymała

• has graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She is a member of the artist collective Dwie Osoby, which she co-creates with Julia Woronowicz. She is also the author of a collection of contemporary urban legends titled Baśnie ursynowskie. She has received the Entry Initiative Award, distinctions from the editorial teams of NN6T and Contemporary Lynx, as well as from the company Royal Talens at the 10th edition of the Nowy Obraz / Nowe Spojrzenie painting competition organised by the University of the Arts Poznań. She was a finalist of the 20th edition of the Artystyczna Podróż Hestii competition and received a residency award at the International Cultural Laboratory in Sokołowsko. She is also a finalist of the Bielska Jesień Painting Biennale 2025. She believes that if something is painted, the chances of it occurring in reality increase.
