Open space – Closed space

Jarema Drogowski

(b. 1984, Warsaw) – he implements his own works in galleries as well as in urban areas. As he says " he runs his own independent research processes aimed at expanding and developing reality". One of these activities was presented in an exhibition accompanying the Venice Biennale in 2011, the project Whispermark, whose goal is to introduce the public to the general use of a new punctuation mark - a whispermark. His street works emerged in, amongst others, Warsaw, London, Ljubljana, New York, and Israel. In 2008, he graduated with honors from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, where after four years he acquired his Ph.D. Since 2009 he has held the role of educator in the Institute of Art Education at the Maria Grzegorzewska Academy of Special Education. He is also the stipendiary of a program for the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage "Young Poland".
