Everyday Forms of Resistance
The publication complementing the exhibition Everyday Forms of Resistance presents an array of objects related to the project: posters, brochures and postcards which include stories, lyrics, and recipes. It also contains reprints of important, thought-provoking texts that present a different perspective on Palestine than the one prevalent in the media. Featured authors include, among others, Dominika Blachnicka-Ciacek, a sociologist and UN observer in Palestine; Suad Amira, a Palestinian writer who in a humorous way addresses issues relating to the occupation; Paweł Mościcki and Ahmad Alaqra, who write about the situation in Palestinian refugee camps, as well as Polish and Palestinian artists: Sandi Hilal, Mirna Bamieh, and Jaśmina Wójcik.
The package includes 13 prints accompanying the Everyday Forms of Resistance exhibition.
