If my BODY is a house!

Process-oriented dance movement workshop led by dancer and choreographer Hrishikesh Pawar
  • If My Body Is a House is an inclusive, process-oriented dance movement workshop led by dancer and choreographer Hrishikesh Pawar, bringing together senior citizens living with Parkinson’s disease and dance practitioners in a shared space of embodied exploration. Unlike regular technique or Dance for Parkinson’s classes, which focus on continuity, functional support, and long-term progression, this workshop format creates a temporary, intensive meeting ground.
    • Open to professional dancers, students, hobby movers, and curious bodies alike, this workshop offers a rare opportunity to experience dance as a space of encounter, empathy, and collective imagination. Using contemporary dance and creative movement practices, the workshop is shaped by memory, change, strength, and vulnerability. Through gentle, functional, and grounded movement, participants engage with presence, adaptability, and connection, honoring individual capacities. If My Body Was a House is an invitation to move, listen, share and co-createtogether.
