Creative guided tours (with dialogue)
Open Storage
-
A small‑group guided tour of the Study Collection Storage, combined with an in‑depth look at a single selected artwork.
-
The Study Collection Storage is a space normally closed to the public and accessible only with a guide. It houses selected works from the Collection of the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art, which has been developed since 1992. In three specially arranged rooms, more than one hundred works are on view — paintings, sculptures, and installations — created by artists from Poland and abroad.
-
Among them are works by Paweł Althamer, Edward Dwurnik, Roman Opałka, Małgorzata Mirga‑Tas, and Joseph Kosuth. Most of these objects were previously presented in exhibitions, forming an important part of the institution’s history as well as its curatorial and educational program.

Guided tours in this space are based on close observation and dialogue. We focus on a single artwork, analyzing its form, the context in which it was created, the artistic language used, and possible interpretations. This meeting is designed to encourage deep reflection: it develops concentration, visual sensitivity, and the ability to articulate one’s own views.
-
The structure of each visit is arranged individually in advance, so that it corresponds to the group’s level of knowledge, interests, and educational goals.
