Art Book Fair
Art Book Fair is establishing a lasting presence at the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art. Nobody Reads This is an event created for artistic, publishing and design communities, responding to the need for a space dedicated to regular meetings, exchange of experiences and the presentation of creative work in book form. Art Book Fair will take place in the first week of December – on 6–7 December 2025.
Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art invites print enthusiasts and collectors, as well as those discovering the richness of the publishing scene or seeking a unique Christmas gift. In an era of digital saturation, it offers a moment to focus on the personal and tangible experience of engaging with a book. Nobody Reads This fair also serves as a meeting place for publishers, designers and artists, providing space for conversation and mutual learning. The programme will include meetings, film screenings and workshops aimed at developing practical skills and encouraging participants to experiment with publishing.
The event marks a new chapter in the activities of the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art – a place that fosters the development of contemporary art in all its forms. Books are among its key areas of interest, not only as a medium for artistic expression but also as an autonomous field of design.
Art Book Fair represents the first step in building a community around publishing practices. A new art bookshop will soon open at the Castle, showcasing art and photography books in a space designed by architect Maciej Siuda and visual artist Katarzyna Przezwańska. In the spring, the Castle courtyard will host second edition of the fair.
