AI Authority of Art

Computer Lars & C.U.K.T. (Asker Bryld Staunæs, Benjamin Asger Krog Møller, Piotr Wyrzykowski, Robert Mikołaj Jurkowski)
  • AI Authority of Art is an interactive exhibition a meeting with virtual politicians Wiktoria Cukt 2.0 and Leader Lars. It is also an artistic and social experiment that shows how artificial intelligence can influence our decisions and politics.
  •
  • The creators think about a future where machines are more and more independent. They ask what cooperation between humans and AI could look like and what might happen if machines take power.
  •
  • The exhibition encourages discussion about democracy and who really has influence over political decisions today. It shows that technology can be both a hope and a threat.
  •
  • Wiktoria Cukt 2.0 is a new version of a programme created in 2000 by the art group C.U.K.T. the Central Office of Technical Culture (Rafał Ewertowski, Robert Mikołaj Jurkowski, Artur Kozdrowski, Jacek Niegoda, Maciej Sienkiewicz, and Piotr Wyrzykowski). She was meant to be the first virtual presidential candidate one who would appeal to everyone and meet all the expectations of her voters.
  •
  • Leader Lars was created in 2022 in Denmark. He is a programme based on a language model, designed to take part in political conversations. He learned language from the programs of over 200 political parties that did not enter the Danish parliament due to lack of support. He speaks for those who have no representative. He also became the central figure of the Danish Synthetic Party, founded by the art group Computer Lars and the technology centre MindFuture.
  •
  • Visitors can not only listen to debates between Wictoria Cukt 2.0 and Leader Lars, but also ask them questions and get answers. The exhibition space includes, among other things, the Wiktoriomat and the Larschive stations where you can talk with the virtual candidates.
  •
  • AI Authority of Art is not just a show. It is a space where art helps imagine a different reality and start a conversation about how we want that reality to look.
