- Aleksandra Przybysz
- born in 1994 in Warsaw. Artist and researcher, doctoral candidate at the Commission of National Education University in Krakow (UKEN) and graduate of the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. Her artistic practice combines sculpture, sound and text. An important area of her exploration is formed by aesthetic strategies derived from the traditions of the Gothic and horror, which she approaches as productive epistemological tools for revealing the ambiguous, “haunted” character of reality in the Anthropocene. She has presented her work at Technarte in Bilbao (ES), Studio Gallery in Warsaw (PL), Galerie Fotografic in Prague (CZ), MetaForte (IT) and Industra Art in Brno (CZ), as well as at events including Festival Circulation(s) in Paris (FR), Warsaw Gallery Weekend, Cracow Art Week KRAKERS and Survival Art Review in Wrocław (PL).
