Long Night of Museums 2022

As part of the Long Night of Museums 2022 we invite you to the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art. Please join us for evening and night tours of Uncensored: Polish Independent Art of the 80s exhibition and walks in the park around the Ujazdowski Castle as part of the pre-launch of our guide Spacerownik: A walking guide to outside-the-box art.

As part of the Victory Day exhibition, 40 posters by the Ukrainian artist Andriy Yermolenko and Polish graphic artist Wojciech Korkuć are presented in the courtyard of the Ujazdowski Castle. The majority of posters were created after 24 February 2022 and as such provide documentation of the invasion of Russia and Ukraine’s resistance.

For those who go to bed early, there will be a family-oriented Polish-Ukrainian meeting, and for cinema lovers of all ages, screenings of Polish animated films #talesfrompoland and our original production about Leon Tarasewicz, Icon for the Road.

Fans of art books and magazines will be able to enjoy a special discount – 30% off for U–jazdowski publications and 40% off for posters. We will also have a pile of film posters to give away.

You will also be able to travel back in time via the U–jazdowski digital archive – a selection of recordings of performances, concerts, and archival footage from festivals will be shown in various parts of the Castle and in the Cistern.
