The Common Field (2024—)
A long-term artistic and research project
- The Common Field is a long-term artistic and research project of the U–jazdowski residency program. The institutions' green surroundings become a space for activities, a subject of research and exploration for a group of Polish artists working at the intersection of visual arts, ecology, education, and performance. Among them are people involved in research into urban green areas, interested in soil, gardening, and practices of maintenance and care. During their creative residencies, they have the opportunity to publicly present their activities in the form of workshops, lectures, screenings, walks, performances, reading groups, shared meals, and more.
