kurator i dyrektor KW Institute of Contemporary Art od czerwca 2016 roku. Był dyrektorem artystycznym Grazer Kunstverein w Grazu od 2012 do 2016 oraz kierownikiem kursu magisterskiego na wydziale sztuk pięknych w Sandberg Instituut w Amsterdamie w 2011 roku. Jest jednym ze współzałożycieli Kunstverein w Amsterdamie. Był kuratorem i organizatorem wielu wystaw i projektów, między innymi Manifesta 7 (Trentino-South Tyrol, IT), Platform Garanti Contemporary Art Center (Istanbul, TR), Artists Space (New York, US), Museum of Contemporary Art (Belgrade, RS), Swiss Institute (New York, US), Galeria Vermelho (São Paulo, BR), Stedelijk Museum (Amsterdam, NL), Van Abbemuseum (Eindhoven, NL), Arnolfini (Bristol, UK), Project Arts Centre (Dublin, IE), Utah Museum of Contemporary Art (Salt Lake City, US), Institute of Modern Art (Brisbane, AU).
Wydawał, redagował, publikował i współpracował z licznymi wydawnictwami.
